XBCD is an abbreviation for the "X-Box Controller Driver" Which has been around for almost as long as the Original Xbox Controllers themselves (approximately 2001-2003). It should be noted that this is the archived version of the documentary and that if you want to check out the most up-to-date version then click here to be taken to the new XBCD documentary. It corrects a few issues with policies of no longer requiring test signing and also covers some manual techniques on how to turn off driver signature enforcement in Windows 10 64 bit edition.

Ouya Anywhere Installation Guide.

Ouya Anywhere is actually a title that was given by the Ouya fan community for the variant of "Ouya Everywhere" that was open for the beta test by devs to load onto tablets during its initial release of the Abominable Snowman patch of the OS. However, since it allowed almost any capable android box to run this program it gained slight popularity as a means of being a part of the Ouya Network without really having an Ouya or setting up a virtual box for developing things for the Ouya.

Orange Pi - Is it ready for the world?

We received the Orange Pi (Or OrangePi) because like many Pi users, I am always looking for something faster to run emulators and games within the ARM-based universe. Emulation on the Raspberry Pi is good but lags a little for the more CPU intensive emulation like Nintendo 64 as just one example. When Orange Pi initially released their $15 (plus 3 dollar shipping from auction site ali-express) dollar computer featuring a quad-core based arm7 processor at around 1.6ghz. It was certainly worth a try.

Uninstall Cyanogen and restore Ouya Firmware.

Uninstall Cyanogen from your Ouya.

Uninstall Cyanogen (sometimes referred to as CM11) and restore our Ouya back to factory default using the full firmware load in the ClockWorkMod Recovery menu. There can be many reasons why you would want to restore the factory firmware onto your Ouya ranging from the company actually getting off their ass and updating new software updates which make the Ouya usable once again such as an Android OS update. Simply restore stock because of the many bugs and glitches in Cyanogen that you simply cannot tolerate anymore. I have published a blog on how to install Cyanogen it is only fitting that I also publish a blog about how to remove Cyanogen as well.

Cyanogen mod the Ouya.

Why Cyanogen Mod (sometimes referred to at CM11) you ask? The future of Ouya and the news of the most recent acquisition of the company to Razer has made a lot of Ouya owners such as myself feel rather uneasy with the consoles business as a whole. Couple this with an aging OS to the point where some favorite applications such as Kodi no longer work under android 4.1 due to programming issues. Razer is now stating that they will keep the Ouya servers up for another year. But then what?

I guess they pull the plug and tell console owners such as myself to buy the next latest/greatest razer box. To which I will probably laugh and buy an Nvidia shield if I were to ever get an android box again. But that's not the point of this blog entry.

The wireless Receiver for my Xbox 360 controller (Sometimes referred to as a wireless dongle) from China is one of those tools that has become more and more relevant in the gaming industry with console ports and couch co-ops. Unlike other types of electronics from China; Where it was inferior or simply nothing more than a piece of plastic or an identifier chip saying what it was but it did nothing at all. This adapter from China does work! But it needs the right drivers!

My experiences with AirPin AirPlay for Ouya

If you have read our previous articles about AirPlay. You'll know that we are no stranger to Apple and their magical protocol of transferring audio data from one device to another with the protocol known as "AirPlay". However, when it came to Ouya it has been almost a dead topic. After all; The Ouya is a cheap game system and could never be able to act as an AirPlay receiver of content like that. Or at least, so we thought. This is not going to be a step-by-step guide as that would involve us showing you how to root your Ouya to access the GooglePlay store. Although this program works without your Ouya being rooted. You would have to think of more creative ways of getting those APKs onto your Ouya without the assistance of Google Play and we can't show you that! We like my web provider very much thank you!

A while ago we decided to go on a journey with OpenSim. For those who are new to metaverse software; OpenSim (Or OpenSimulator) is a program that emulates the back-end resources of a commercial metaverse known as "Second Life". The client or front-end that connects to OpenSim are third-party clients such as firestorm and Singularity. We liked working offline from SecondLife and keeping a backup of my stuff. Quake 2 MD2 – Mazen Opossum

Because we were super bored, we are republishing our very first Quake 2 character, Mazen.

A long time ago and many computers passed we created our very first quake2 model. It was supposed to be an anthropomorphic Opossum by the name of "Mazen" and he was a model that can be used in quake2 for multiplayer deathmatches. Although getting the exact date and time of creation was difficult. I wrote a PDF tutorial on making quake2 and quake 3 models which had a creation date of October 14th of 2001. However, the last modified date of Mazen was March 03, of 2004. So we will go off of the last known edit date and place this blog entry on that date to not alarm anyone that this is "New" content we are adding here.

Between the creation of Quake 2 XP edition which had high-res textures as well as the RTX edition. We couldn't just release the classic Opossum model by itself. For starters, it couldn't even load in Quake 2 XP because the PCX images used were in a non-standard format. Well. We corrected that, as well as videos and downloads showing the entire process.
