Corsair Void Pro – Disassembly and Repair.

Corsair Void Pro Title.

A Corsair Void Pro has now landed on my workbench.

We recently had a friend bring to me a Corsair Void Pro headset. That during their travels through airports the headset sustained some damage that rendered it inoperable. Although this is a simple repair. It’s still informative to those who don’t want to see it on YouTube dealing with “shakey-cam” footage on the repair process of these headsets. On top of it since we’ve already gone off about other corsair products such as the M65 and their Scimitar. Why not start in on their headset line?

Rollerblade office caster wheels – buyer beware!

Rollerblade office chair caster title.

We purchased a set of Rollerblade office caster wheels.

We picked up a set of these office caster wheels that essentially have Rollerblade wheels on the bottom of them. Why you ask? Initially I wanted skateboard wheels for the bottom of my chair to maintain the aesthetic however those didn’t exist and Rollerblade wheels was the next best thing. Since Rollerblade wheels have a low Shore A rating of around 75A it meant that the polyurethane is soft and thus will not make any noise on hardware floors. In less then a month of having these I ran into some problems!

Ebay cel-phone battery rip-off

Well my dealings with ebay would eventually go sour and have a rip-off.

It’s just funny that it happened on such a crap product. I wanted to get a battery for my Palm Pre’ because surprizingly I actually use it for work for closing out workorders. the battery that’s in it works but the charge only lasts for maybe 20 minutes before it powers down. I wanted to get a new battery for it. I’ve already hacked it bypassing the activation screen so i can at least use the wi-fi and web-browsing capabilities of it.
