As Covid, chip shortage, cryptocurrency, and video card prices got crazy stupid in 2022. We witnessed businesses spend $450 on a Geforce 1050ti (normally $125 at the time) because they needed SOMETHING to work with Adobe products. Getting 30xx series Nvidia card was just about $2,000 which given it was supposed to come at an initial price point of $600 the world of 3-d graphics cards was undoubtedly a stupid time! Now, these companies claim that they learned from their mistakes and will start building chip companies in different countries around the world instead of coming from a single location which sounds great and all. But that unfortunately will not be tested until we get another incident that shits out the entire world economy or shipping industry.
But then, out from the shadows of onboard laptop graphics chipsets. Intel announced the “ARC” series. An affordable graphics card that is good for gaming and applications. This article is going to focus a lot more on the video editing side of the ARC as it seems to shine better than the gaming side of things.

It’s the duty of a blogger who writes about freeing oneself into a state of web independence to eventually talk about all of the software that is used in accomplishing such a task. That you must use, contribute, promote, and ultimately let others know about said software so that the user base grows and becomes better each and every year. Because sadly. The clear-net search engines are no longer on the side of these people. It’s up to bloggers, businesses, and other websites to drive the point home that a name of a free piece of software isn’t some shit ad space that you sell to the lowest bidder.

Now, in contrast to a lot of streamers gaming rigs as well as their battle-station of three to five monitors. Our setup is a little underwhelming but we do feel it’s unique in other departments. One of those departments being that we took a giant ass server case. 16.5 inches tall, 20 inches long, 8.5 inches wide. We’ve had PC’s like shuttles in the past and although they were cute. They were impossible to keep cool OR quiet. So screw it! We went in the opposite direction!

One of the things that I used to paint textures as well as art is a very ancient Wacom GD-0912-R pad that I have been using ever since I had a 486. It’s a great pad really! I paid about $400 back in the ’90s for it. 17 inches of space to draw on making coloring super easy!
